I did some seriously foolish things in the past, but
what really scared me was finding out that racing can
meet the recklessness element for murder. In other
words, street racing has been held to demonstrate
sufficient reckless disregard for human life, to be
equivalent to the intentional taking of human life. I
could probably find the case if I dug out my old
criminal law text. SO you better be really sure that a
Pinto doesn't pull out in front of you. I'd imagine
that you could even get nailed if the fatality is the
driver of the car you are racing against.

Kind of makes the track and open road events sound
like a really good idea.
