Oh Mikey and any Interested Parties,
Who cares how high or low John's wheels look or are perceived to look by
comparison... all I know, and can tell you from the bottom of my ____ (oh
well, forgittaboutit.. spoken with my new NY accent) ...What I can vouch for,
is that his car zzzoooomed around the Pocono track with the smoothness of the
*f'ing Space Shuttle!!! It was eating up Ferraris like Pokemon. -- Thank you
John for the most exciting experience of my entire vacation : )
Being able to ride along with John on the track was
firsst over all the other fun parts of my visit East, although I did enjoy
the half day sailboating in gorgeous Mystic, CT (that place takes #1 for
incredible air) and the testimonial I can give to Meguiar's Scratch Remover
samples given out at Pocono as the stuff took off the scrapes and appeared to
cure the dent someone made on my rental in a parking lot... then there was
the pizza in Huntington, Long Island.... ahh yes, then the viewing of "Men
of Honor" on the (AA) plane home... now on my list of ALL TIME BEST MOVIES.
Will write more about the fabulous Poconos, the beauty of the majestic
scenery surrounding the Manor...and how fun it was meeting Mojo, Pitbull, the
EPA'ers, the Texas folks, and everyone else, in the real person!!! Wow... it
was all great.
Look for me soon after I unpack..rough ETF (estimated time for feat) about 2
weeks
: )
Ciao,
Laurie (just back from the Big Apple where the man-hole covers have warning
stickers..."Beware, extermination of lizards now in progress" ...good
material for my impending creative nightmares : )

Hi guys,
John asked me to shoot photos of his awesome Fiske 17 inch front/18 inch rear
wheel/tire combination and post them for you to see.

Personally, I consider these wheels to be a little TOO big, on the verge of
overwhelming the car. Also, the car sits rather high off the ground as a
result.
Strangely, Hubert's GT5-S has 18-inch wheels all around and doesn't seem
nearly this high; those wheels work in that application. Lower-profile
tires, I guess, as many GT5 and GT5-S cars with 17-inch wheels sit too high
for my tastes.
Whatever--John's wheels/tires work great and provide the same benefits as a
new ring-and-pinion set! John, weren't you about 500 rpm lower than Kirby at
the same speeds?
Mike
