I've received several requests for more information on
the Steering Rack Spacer Kit.
I've added more information to the article ("Steering Rack ...") found
at my website on the Tech Info page. (History, installation, etc...)

To see what it looks like, visit: http://geocities.com/provamo72/
Then select Parts4Sale, there you will find an image of the kit.

To see where this part goes, visit my Steering Rack story in the
Tech Section,
or view this drawing, where the part is titled: Rack Shim.

To see what the Factory unit looks like, still attached, but with the
steering rack removed, for easy viewing,

Mike Drew's article on rebuilding the steering rack, and his experience
installing the spacer is not on a website. When he sends me a copy, I'll
post it on my site. Mike made his own part, if you are so inclined.

I'll have pricing info available, when the machinist makes the next group.
Stainless Steel is turning out to be expensive, and frankly, unnecessary,
Aluminum is fine, as strength is not an issue, and you really can't see the
part once installed.

More to follow...
