| Subject: | Windshield wiper "park" |
| Date: | Wed, 4 Jul 2001 03:50:34 -0400 |
While things are a little quiet and people have a day off, I thought I'd ask a question.
Obviously not my most pressing problem at the moment, but driving home from Italy last
week it began to rain just a little bit. I turned on my windshield wipers and noticed that for
whatever reason they no longer "self-park", but instead stop wherever they are when I
turn the switch off.
What causes this? Is this function controlled by the motor, by the switch, by luck?
I know, most of the California group is saying to themselves "Windshield wipers?"
