I don't understand, I guess - Mine is not quite two years old and I'm > nearing 28 thousand... that's with three zeros and a smile on my face every > single mile. maybe these people bought the thing as an investment, although all the extra accessories seem to argue against that... i agree it's hard to imagine owning the car and not driving it. even if it was just a weekend car, i'd have more miles on it that that! on another subject, i'm mad that mazda is playing games with the colors. that is, it took 'em over a year to get around to doing BRG, and when they did, they made it a loaded limited edition that most people wouldn't/couldn't buy. while i think the green is a bit too dark compared to Real (tm) BRG (check out a Triumph, MG, or Jag sometime for a comparison), it was still popular. i get the impression they never intend to do another run, which really stinks. hopefully i'm wrong. the same thing goes for the yellow - normally i'm wary of yellow cars, but i think the yellow miata is completely GREAT! if i were getting another one, i'd definitely consider yellow. but they only did around 1500 (i think) of 'em, and now they've discontinued it. maybe they'll bring it back again, who knows? i'm positive it'd remain a popular color. now that silver is also gone, it's a little boring that you can only buy red, white, blue, or black. after all, R/W/B have been around since the beginning, and the vast majority of miatas on the road are R/W/B, so it's difficult for someone to get one that stands out from the crowd. well, enough crabbing for today... (mine's red and i like it fine, but let's have some more VARIETY, ok?!)
