Has anyone gotten a cupholder for your Miata?
Especially, has anyone seen or gotten the new Mazda cupholder?
if so, what do you think?

i've seen the cupholder ashtray overlay, and don't like it
(basically, a new plastic cover for the metal ashtray pan
with 2 holes in it - the bottom is still the ashtray, which
isn't flat).

i just got (but may shortly be sending back) the plastic
cupholder setup as advertised in the Miata Magazine for $40,
made by someone named (i think) Bartlett, also distributed by
Brain Storm.  i don't like it a bit - it's 3 separate pieces
(a plastic overlay with 2 plastic cupholder inserts - it's
attached using screws through the bottom of the inserts into the
plastic of the console base).  i was hoping it would be a nice
single piece unit that you could put in and remove easily, but
not so.  since the fit of the cup inserts is very snug, it looks
difficult to get them to fit properly (i.e., flush with the
plastic overlay top - they keep popping up and overlap each other
slightly).

i haven't seen the new Mazda cupholder, what's the opinion on it?
any other thoughts?
