Is your car highly modified? i don't autoX, but i stepped up Yoko A509 195/50's on 15" rims, A509s for their behavior in the wet, and 15" mostly just for something different. i was worried about how the ride would suffer (195/50 sidewalls are NOT very tall!) but i was pleasantly surprised. the ride was firmer, but not that much, and i actually preferred it to the somewhat sloppy feel of the stock tires. i'm not crazy about really harsh rides, esp. on bumpy roads, but fortunately this wasn't the case. cornering was lots better, with much less body roll due to sidewall flex. if you don't mind _a little_ increase in road harshness, it's worth considering. just my $.02. -- Ken Buck /| Internet: k.buck@ma30.bull.com \'o.O' ACK!
