Alex, according to my Miata workshop manual, top of p. B-77 shows the torque
specs. for the "cylinder head cover" (that's what they call it) to be 43 to
78 (that's forty three to seventy eight) inch-pounds.  Metric conversion was
also given, but I leave that as an exercise for the student here.  They also
show some silicone sealant being applied at the cam oil seals.
