The remote locks, according to the dealership would not be availible until mid-'95. Of course they also said that I wouldn't be able to get a '95 Miata until late Jan early Feb. It is very easy to add a solenoid to accuate your locks. I was going to do this when I added my alarm, but decided against it. I mean how difficult is it to reach accross and flip the lever? Besides, being the southern gentleman I prefer to unlock the door for my girlfriend and then open it. (No flames from liberal women please!) Also if you have an inferior alarm system (read: not a Clifford) if you have the electric locks connected to your alarm a thief can then disarm AND unlock your doors with the flip of a switch. If you have a Clifford Concept series alarm you don't have to worry because they are not susceptible to being disarmed by code grabbers, scanners, or high wattage radios. Oh yeah the installer quoted I think $60 to put in the solenoids. -Mac. '95 Montego Blue - Leather Protected by Clifford Concept 50+ and SigArms P220 Combat .45 ACP
