Subject: strenght of the soft top?

We got about 6 inches of moderately damp (but not sloppy wet) snow in
eastern DC over Sat. night, and our Miata stays outside; fortunately, we had
the top up :).  And I understand others have found the tops to be good for
at least two cats simultaneously.
