RE: the pickup driver with arm out window and "hey, there is a Coke bottle
in that hand!"  Couldn't have been much of a macho Texan, if it wasn't an
empty Lone Star bottle.
 
BTW:  Anyone ever heard of a sports car running a pickup off the road?  It
would be interesting to get on the pickemup truck net (if there is such a
thing, and it wouldn't surprise me) to see their wierd driving tales.  I bet
being run off the road by a sports car - let alone a Miata - isn't among
them.  In my expert opinion (I read a tongue in cheek article in Car &
Driver once) the usual cause of single pickup truck accidents is swerving to
avoid a deer.  Funny how they swerve to avoid a 200 lb. animal that they
otherwise take great pride in shooting, and swerve to run a car weighing ten
times as much, off the road.  Oh, well, just be thankful he didn't have his
gun off the gun rack and do an Easy Rider on you.  (You have to have seen
the end of the movie.)  Come to think of it, maybe that's why we didn't see
too many Miatas around the San Antonio - Midland area last year.
