Just as I was feeling all warm and cozy over the expressions of
internationalism on the list, another form of ugly prejudice raises it's
head... thr AOL flame! Being such a large server, perhaps AOL has lots of
kids and idiots out there, but the choice of a service says nothing at all
about the user. Insofar as I have a "real" life (ie: neat cars, house
business, travel, etc) I have not had the time to master the more esoteric
aspects of computing. AOL is easy to use and convenient, if ungodly
expensive. Concept here is the same; some of us use the list to practice
computer skills, while trying to observe netiquet, so give us a break, OK?
