This would be my 3rd rear subframe brace for Brua. #1: Technosports track bar. Looked nice, after some hundred miles I realized there was "movement" on the side with the "oval" hole for the bolt to allow for inter-car tolerances. Could not be fixed by tightening, but I fixed it with some custom cut washers filling the unwanted space. This was an improvement. Worked fine until I did about 150 miles on Goodwood race track. At home, I discovered that the right mounting brace was bent. I am absolutely positive that it was straight before the event (installed the JR exhaust then). I did not hit anything that might have caused the bending on the trip.I took some pictures of the bent part, and sent a fax to Technosports. They answered: This has never been reported before, cannot happen, you must have hit something, and we don't manufature or sell the track bar any longer .... Look for the pictures of the bent track bar and their response on my upcoming web page. I got me a RB rear subframe brace, which has received high praise on the net, and like you, was disappointed just from looking at it. I am sure there will be movement allowed, probably all it does is "dampen" the movement. Really strange if you compare it to their very well made front subframe brace .... Think I will get your customized bar, or is Bill going to offer a REAL subframe brace soon? I love the Flyin' Miata Strut Brace! Werner and Brua, who can't wait to get back to Goodwood
