>Anyone out there know what every happened to the Shunpiker. This is bad timing. Frank Potter, the man who was the main force behind the Shunpiker, just left for a good long vacation! I'll try to explain what happened, and I may get corrected upon his return. The short answer is cost. The magazine was designed (looked great!), and the content for the first couple of issues was in place. I think (and here's where my memory is perhaps unreliable) a deal for the printing fell through, and the whole thing just became too much. Frank had been funding everything out of his own pocket. I didn't know it had come to the point of gathering cheques. It's true, you did deserve notice that the project had been shelved. As one of the members of the Shunpiker staff, I'd like to apologise. Perhaps some of the effort will pay off down the road - some of that content would fit well in the MNews! Keith and Baby, who's looking forward to her long trip this weekend _____________________ Page de Home: www.miata.net/keith Underground Miata Network: http://www.ottawa.net/~tanner/umn _____________________
