I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a manufacturer that makes a cover
for the vinyl window. What I am looking for is something along the lines of the
cover that came standard with a '87 BMW 325ic. What it did was protect the
window when the top was *up* by covering the window. The four straps attached
to it then were clipped to the top, keeping a reasonable amount of tension on
it to prevent it blowing off.

I know about window protectors for the *down* window. I just wish to keep as
much light off of my window, when I am not driving, as possible. Of course, if
the window goes bad early on, I can must convince my wife that I really *need*
that Robbins top with the glass back window. ;^)

Scott and Woody, who is happy dad finally removed those ugly rear tiedown hooks
from her shapely derriere.
