Just a battery data point. The Panasonic AGM in my '94 is now well over 5
years old. It had started getting pretty sluggish on those cool mornings
(in the 50's) we've had lately. One morning it took me three tries over ten
minutes to get it started - it finally fired off on what certainly would
have been the last rotation of the starter before the battery was too flat.
I went out that evening (it started fine the rest of the day after I drove
around for a bit) and bought a battery charger. I put the battery on a 2
amp charge over night and it has been much better since.
