[DeTomaso] Holley 600 carburetor

If you have a newer model of the Holley 600 carburetor you might want to
check that the accelerator pump intermediate arm it resting on the
accelerator pump cam and not on the throttle return spring that is around
the shaft. This will cause the throttle to move some distance before the
cam can contact intermediate arm and activate the accelerator pump. I fixed
the problem by installing the cam from my old Holley 600 that is larger and
extends above the spring. I then readjusted the accelerator pump
intermediate arm screw to compensate for the larger cam. I'm sending Holley
an email to see what their fix is.
