[DeTomaso] Great coincidence! Custom billet cover and "Isis" logo

I was taking a look at the various items the PIM showroom had to offer
and noticed a key fob with the Isis logo in a display box (I know the
insignia is not actually supposed to be called but we'll skip that for
now). I just so happen to have a beautiful custom made billet aluminum
steering wheel center cover with a 1 1/4" gaping machined depression I
was looking to fill. An extra Ghia emblem I had lying around didn't do.
Neither did another large Isis logo for the front of the car looked like
it would work.

Well, yesterday a friend and I travelled from SLO county to Orange to
check out PI Motorsports. I needed to get a few parts anyway and a
friend (very interested in obtaining a P-car) made a day of it. We
eventually found ourselves in the varied showroom of Pantera
International and I was looking at a key fob with the logo. Oddly, I had
a hunch about it. I asked Linda to take a measurement of the logo and
sure enough, it was 1 1/4" in diameter. I took it home and except for
the extra tabs soon to be filed off, it fit PERFECTLY in my steering
wheel piece.  It was a great assist!
