I use to live by the Jet-Hot factory in Pascagoula, Mississippi. I used them
for nearly everything, from headers, brackets, springs, etc. I don't know if
they still do this, but the use to give a lifetime warranty if you brought
them a new set of headers to have coated inside and out. Yes they do
dissapate heat better than a conventional coating and the finish, if you
choose the aluminum color does stay that color. I never tried the powder
looking colors so I can't verify them. The polished aluminum look was what I
was after mostly due to at the time was into restoring GTO's and first
generation Firebird's.
