Yo My Peeps & you *ther slackers too,

  I just drove ItBWild into L.A. and back (Road Test #3)....Water temp even in L.A. traffic never went over 180F and I never needed to turn on the auxillary cooling fan...so we now know for sure that the NASCAR rad works beyound my original  expectations. 

  A BIG-grass to South Bay Panteras and Steve Wilkinson (and Wild-Bill (who does all the serious wrenching at Steve's shop.  www.panterasbywilkinson.com for hosting the Tech Session and making all of us feel at home.

  Then there were of course the South Bay Pantera club master wrenches (Sir-Richard, SOBill and Grant) who did ALL  the 4-corner wheel balancing, wheel alignment and wheel balancing support today, THANKS guys. You worked your butts off. 

  Nothing but blue skys and sunshine (75F) here. I guess there were 6-8 Pantera's and one Ferrari Boxer at the tech session!  I guess the Donut Derelict crowd were too busy in Orange County polishing off their rides and their  donuts in Huntington Beach to go but for those real men who did go we had a good time. ;-]

  The South Bay Boyz even brought food, sodas and beer....okay no beer but everything else was good...Bill switched out my monster front **** springs for some Aldan 400 pounders that are a inch shorter and the Pantera suspension feels allot better...

  Steve Wilkinson had an interesting project Pantera in his shop with a 4-camer (5.2?) GT40 Ford engine coupled with the GT40 transaxle. If you need a WINDSHIELD give Steve a call....HIS ARE ON "SALE" right now.

Get ready for 'Vegas and the summer driving season!!

South Bay Pantera Club is having an Alignment and Balance Diagnostic 
Clinic Tech Session on Sat. April 8th.

Through the tools and efforts of Bill Taylor (SOB to some) and the 
generosity of Steve Wilkinson we're having a clinic where you'll be able 
to check your Pantera for:

1) Wheel Alignment (camber, caster, and toe-in)
2) Corner Balance and total weight.
3) Wheel Balance (weights for rebalancing will be extra)

When: Sat. April 8th, 11 am - around 4 pm

How: All POCA members (and those who want to be, we'll be accepting 
applications) are welcome to attend and join in the fun but we will only 
be able to handle 15 to 20 or so cars (depending on who wants what 
checked) so an RSVP is required if you want to be sure you'll get 
checked. When you RSVP please indicate your wheel size, your time 
preference(s) (by hour, 11 to 4), which of the checks you want, POCA 
chapter affiliation, and your contact phone #s.

Currently the plan is to have the wheel alignment and corner balance 
done at the same time but there may be a second corner balance only 
station if we can get a second set of scales. Wheel balancing will be 
done separately on Steve's dynamic balancer.
