[DeTomaso] E bay Pantera with slick advertising

Hi, I suspect the "1971 Pantera would make a great restoration" up for bid on 
ebay may not be the jewel he claims it is.  Most of the pictures only show a 
very small area of the car and the No Rust must not include the right front 
fender behind the wheel where the rocker meets the fender.  He is very carefull 
when he describes the car as just painted and in great shape, but he then says 
the car needs a restoration and probably won't start.  He covers himself by 
building it up and then emphasizing AS IS, without a warranty.  All the bidders 
are hidden and the bidding price go up quickly over just a short time span.  
I would be very careful if you are interested and definitely have someone 
check it out.  One final note, his mid 80,s rating and short time selling on ebay 
is another red flag.
