[DeTomaso] (NPC) Enough is Enough

Let's say that they continue to and do manage to get LEGAL status especially 
for WORK.  Once they are LEGAL, what does their pay do?  They will DEMAND 
that these paychecks go up to standard levels that are supposedly for jobs 
that no American will do.  End result?  Those jobs that Americans won't do 
cost more money for everyone and inflation gets another boost.  End of the 
cheap labor that these employers are so happy about.  Housing goes up, 
restaurant labor goes up, etc.

Once an illegal, oops, now a LEGAL alien is denied comperable pay as an 
American would get for comperable jobs, he now has a RIGHT to go to the 
labor board and file against his employer and win!

Rather than address the symptom of why they are coming here, the better (and 
maybe more cost effective in the long run) method would be to put a HUGE 
effort into helping (in the general case) Mexico get their economy going so 
that their people wouldn't feel such a need to come here illegally.  Of 
course this is a tall order with the corruption in the Mexican government. 
Annexation? (just kidding)

There's lots more but I thought maybe we better think about what WILL happen 
in the future and NOT give them legal status.  Going after the employers in 
the short term and cutting the number coming across the border is mandatory 
now IMHO.

BTW, when I say illegal immigrants, it is ANY foreigner (remember, we cannot 
tell the difference between one that plans to work and those that could be 
smuggling parts for suitcase nuclear weapons) that comes across the border.

It is NOT whether it will happen, the question is WHEN it will happen (don't 
kid yourselves). Al queda wants to KILL all of us infidels!
