[DeTomaso] Aftermarket Disc Brake System for a 1973 Pantera

The Best Bang for the Buck is to make sure your stock system is up to par in
the first place: A) all calipers functioning properly, B) new brake pads and
surfaced rotors, C) shuttle valve and proportioning valve cleaned and
functioning properly D) new brake fluid and properly bleed lines.

The next best bang for the buck if you don't already have one is a group
4/GT5 brake booster. By far one of the cheapest brake upgrade secretes the
vendors usually don't want to tell you about. You will have to drill the
booster mounting holes as there are four studs instead of the stock boosters
3 studs. And you may have to modify the inner fender a tad with a hammer
"just like the factory" for it to fit as the booster is larger than the
stock unit.
