Ok, now I think you have fallen off the deep end. I know mice can get
through small holes, but not small pipe. Put a 6-foot long piece of 1/2
inch pvc through the wall, put a piece of cheese at the inside end of
the pipe, set up a video camera and start taping. If I see a mouse
travel 6 feet through a 1/2 pipe and crawl out to get the cheese, I'll
pay your Silver State entry.

A mouse can get its self through a 1/4" hole, so I am told. I build my
house
myself. There is not a 1/4 inch hole in it. I still get mouses in the
house.
This time of year they start to look for warmer place to live.
I had them get into the old Pantera and ate off all the felt from the
trunk
and tub. They did a great job of it too.
