Hello everyone,

Jack Rans, of Indianapolis, won the class with his great red '72.

Michael, I hope you and your wife enjoyed your trip to Indy and the F1 race.
We enjoyed your company and look forward to seeing you again. We certainly
saw some wonderful cars at the Indy Concours. Great times and great people,
it doesn't get any better!

I hope you have a safe trip home.

Greetings All,

Road trip to Indy for the F1 race, ( no Pantera with me )and the Indy
Concours,

A Detomaso Pantera won it's class, get this, best AMERICAN sportscar, beat
out a boatload of Ferrari's, more than a dozen cherry classic Corvettes,
including two awesome Baldwin Motion cars, it was a red 72 Pre-L owned by a
local guy, Jack R.  ?  This was a real coup with a up and coming great
concours event, equal to Amelia Island, etc..  Mr. Petersen of Petersen
Museum, Road and Track, , Petersen Publishing, etc. was there too as what
appeared to be the ring leader of this great show.

Also met in person Dave McManus and his wife, another billboard contributer,
super nice guy, gave me the Indy rundown, helped us secure Sunday close up
parking and shared a great dinner, spent hours with me talking Detomaso
chat. with me and then we all ate at race themed local hot spot, Union
Jack's Pub, excellent pizza.

I'll post pix when I get home.
