[DeTomaso] Group IV Taillight recommendation/ BRIGHTNESS.

It should be remembered that an LED's light output is generally 
within a narrow angle, all of which is to the front of the lens. 
This make the parabolic reflector of little value as there is no 
light to reflect.

I have designed a replacement for our Pantera tail lights that 
increases the light output substantially. I haven't had much time 
to come up with a mass produced product but have gone as far as to 
find a local source to make the required circuit boards.

If there would be an interest in such an item, I'll try to set 
some time aside to make something available. My design is unique 
in that it fills the entire lens with equal light that is visible 
from all angles. I guess the closest comparison would be the new 
Cadillac lights but I can't distribute the light quite that evenly 
due to the "pillows" that are cast into the Pantera lenses.

Some of the members of this list have seen my design and may 
comment on its merits.
