Dave, yours and Ron Scotts suggestions are good, but have either of you 
access to a film-camera exposure meter to actually put a number on "bright" and 
"brighter" re incandescent vs LED? 
Everyone's eyes work a little differently, the quality of flash-plating 
varies in our tail light buckets and maybe even the 4 possible tail light lenses on 
Panteras are different transparencies... FWIW- J DeRyke
