[DeTomaso] Campy restoration

I'm still using Zinc Chromate primer for all my aircraft metal parts
before painting.  Maybe it'll be harder to find next year, but no
problem getting it this year.

Zinc chromate has a distinctive light green color and is (or at least
was)
widely used in the aviation industry. I seem to remember seeing/hearing
that
it is no longer used due to environmental concerns??? So I would find
out
what the plane guys are using now.

Mike,
Zinc Chromate is no longer available. We treat aluminum parts with
alodine
1200 and then a Boeing spec primer. Alodine is a protective chromate
conversion coating.
