Thanks for the response.
I have read all your articles in past issues of POCA and have noted your  comments about pushing the piston right thru the dust cover, however in this case I just screwed up and was not watching what I was doing (maybe it was the beer) and poked a hole in the cover.

The cover is soaking in RuGlude Rubber Lubricant from NAPA to clean it up. After that I will try the RTV unless someone else comes up with a cross reference number.
