Chris,
"O" should mean orange and "R" should mean red. I've also found that a few
of the wires in my car do not match the colors on the wiring diagram. When
that happens, I figure out where the actual wires go (the diagram shows you
where your two wires should go) and then correct the wiring diagram for
future reference.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Electrical Wiring- Wire Color Code
IdentificationQuestion
Guys:
Need some help here......
I'm in the process of wiring up my LEDs that I installed for indicator
lights in my Autometer tach and speedo. The turn signal indicator on the
Veglia tach has two wires, a lite blue, and a lite blue with a black stripe
going to the indicator light bulb socket.
When I trace these same wires on my schematic, it shows two wires, one as a
"O", and the other as a "R". Now all the other wires seem to be identified
correctly by color, or maybe their color names are the same in English as in
Italian... I just don't know.
So my question here is, does anyone know what color a wire is that's listed
as "O", or listed as "R"? They should be a light blue or a light blue with
black stripe..... maybe...
.... I think.....
Thanks,
Chris
