[DeTomaso] Aluminum Pulleys

Dan,

I don't know your intended use but you may not want to under drive 
your water pump. A friend had always had problems with overheating 
at idle and low speeds. When he installed a B&M blower, I made a 
crank pulley 1/2" larger in diameter and that corrected the 
overheating troubles.

I feel that Pantera water pumps are turning at about the minimum 
speed to prevent overheating. I think this is why we see some cars 
run OK while others overheat at low speeds. The Flowercooler pumps 
have more vanes which pump more water and solve the problem.
