 All I can say is ... "WOW"

  And "Thank you!" Dave, Linda and Paige for all you have done for our 
marque for all so many years. We trust you will remain active in the De 
Tomaso family and its activities.

 The following was posted this weekend to the P.I. Bulletin board:

  We are pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2006, George Pence 
will be assuming the responsibilities as the President of Pantera 
International. Justin Pence has been duly elected Vice President and 
Adam Pence will serve as the Secretary and Treasurer of this 
organization, founded in 1973. This club could not be in more capable 
hands than the Pence family. Linda and I are very pleased and satisfied 
with their enthusiasm for the DeTomaso marque and their combined 
capabilities.

  Linda and I will continue to be involved with Pantera International, 
serving as feature editors and on special assignments as called upon by 
the Directors. We are both very dedicated to this organization and it 
is our strongest desire that it should continue as long as there is one 
DeTomaso automobile on the planet!

  The quality of the publication will continue to improve and you can 
expect that the club will become more dynamic and interactive in the 
future.

  We are working collectively on the Summer 2006 issue of Pantera 
International and through our joint efforts, we expect that this next 
magazine will be one of the best ever published.

  We have been very fortunate at PI to have made so many wonderful 
friends over the years that kept inspiring us. The wonderful thing 
about this organization is our culture of sharing information on 
everything from technical information to historical research, feature 
cars and other ideas. Without the support of our members, we could not 
have done it for 15 years.

  We hope to stay involved with the Pence's, however, they bring fresh 
new ideas to the table and a new atmosphere of fellowship. We expect 
the club's influence will continue to grow and that the members will 
receive great value for their dues.

  Linda and I would like to do more vintage racing and continue to learn 
how to be farmers (avocados that is). We are not the Beverly Hillbillys 
but damn close. Please drop us a line any time.

  We will still be working at PI Motorsports which the Pences did not 
acquire. PIM will remain supportive of the club and the Pence family 
efforts.
