What is the dark green, swoopy looking Maserati coupe (60s ish)? I don't
think I've seen one before?

Put some pictures up for last weekends Le Belle Macchine d'Italia event in
the Pocono Mountains - before we got rained out. Check out:

We had a great time even though we were rained out for our track events. The
concourse was limited due to concerns about the weather but it did not rain
during the show. The lunch at the lodge was just outstanding. It is worth
the trip for the luncheon and the people. We had lots of visiting
dignitaries at this event. Tom Tjaarda, Valentino Balboni, and Dennis Gage
the host of Classic Car on Speed Channel, to name a few. However, the
highlight of Saturday was dining Alfresco in the hotel parking lot. Between
the motel room furniture and track chairs we had a very impressive looking
dining area. Mango Daiquiris were once again prepared by the Master Daiquiri
Man, Jim Wallace. This time Jim used the PONE gasoline powered, 24 CC
displacement - two horse power Blender to make the Daiquiris. It was a
sight to behold. Grown men stood in Awe, women fainted and small children
screamed with delight. Cocktails were followed with stuffed peppers and deli
sandwiches thanks to Jim Wallace, Nancy Ridley and Carol Reid.
On Sunday we were rained out of the track events so we did what any mature
consenting adult would do. A group of us attended the cartoon movie Cars at
the local matinee with all the other children. It is a very funny show and
well worth seeing. I am not sure though what those parents thought about a
group of adults, in their track clothes, were doing there.... Now if they
had only seen us in the parking lot with our gas powered bender they would
have known!
