I thought we also agreed on heavy weapons, Brazilian girls, and driving
fast?

JB and I don't agree on anything except maybe D*ck's 3-point bars and
his roll cages. hehehe

I'm all for guys that like to do the job themselves, but you
can't beat
one of D*ck's bars. Save yourself a lot of headache and just buy
one
from him. They fit perfectly, come with everything you need, are
fairly
priced, and you can get a removable third leg (which I have and
recommend) for added safety. You can come check out mine before
you buy
	if you like.

	LARRY HEHEHE,

If you are running the 130 Average Group (165 top speed) and are
planning to fabricate and install your own roll bar make sure if
you are
bolting it in you use the existing fire wall bolt holes and on
the base
that you use a backing plate and you mount the bolts in the 'up'
position so that Tech can see you 'really' have secured the
bar....a
couple of the Viper/Corvette/Porsche wieniers in attempting to
NOT have
to drill holes into their precious factory race cars have
actually
mocked up the bar, set in the car but never bolted it in or if
the
bolted it in they never put a backing plate so now Tech wants to
see
that your mounting base bolts and nuts are visable....again,
check tech
rules and also check with John Bentley (JB) who isn't that far
from you.
I know you have a budget and want to do the work yourself but
Dick
Drenske I think has some roll bars already made up...contact
D*ck if you
	are interested.

Okay okay mad dawg... thanks for the quick answers :) i'll spend
some
	time
reading the SSCC tech rules since i just got done with all these
school
	test
and etc... I really hope to get the pantera done on time!!!

A roll bar is just something that goes from one side (like my
side next
	to
the door and seat).. up and over my head and down the other side
	(passenger
side) right? If that's all that's required.. i'll just bend my
own
	tubing...
weld some plates on and bolt it to the car and run in 130 mph
group
	=P...

Oh i just ordered another electric water pump haha.. there goes
another
	500
	bucks...

And... i got my electric thermostat system... it has a freakin
ECU with
it!!! hahaha it even has an ambient temp sensor where it reads
	information of the
outside air temp to super super super accurately keep my temp
within 3
degrees of whatever "pill" i stick into the thermostat
computer.. like
	those rpm
limiter pills... haha no wonder it cost more then my water pump
=P..
