[DeTomaso] NSX forum...American V8

Just as an observation, when I first saw an NSX I thought there were really cool looking, but I always thought they were a drive and maintain sorta car, not something many people could or would modify. I assume you're right about supercharging, but here in California, it has to be pre 75 if you want to do much to the engine. It is an artificial criteria, but something we have to live with.

Oddly, the NSX looks somewhat dated to me now (a subjective thing) but many Panteras do not. I really can't say why.

There are no Panteras that ride as good as an NSX. Yes they are
underpowered but for around 10 with an sc you can take care of that.
Not my fav. Car but they sure do ride/handle great. It has 30 years of
tech. in it.

Yes start talking shit!

Subject: [DeTomaso] NSX forum...American V8

An NSX forum discussion about lack of torque ultimately spiraled into
stuffing an American V8 into the back of the car.
I respectfully suggested that it had been done...Pantera!
