Brokeback Donny,
I agree with you. There's nothing sweeter then turning a Cleveland to 7 grand unless its to 8! Still, a stoked and poked Cleveland is a beautiful thing! ;-]
Most of these you guys will never spin a tire unless its knocking over their neighbors mailbox at 3am after the bars close.

I highly respect the strokers, but I have to also share there is nothing at
all wrong either with a good ole 351 Cleveland that is built right. They run
mighty fine stroked stock. Mine will spin 7K and make excellent power up there
for the cubic inch. It just depends in the characteristic you want. I may
be a tad soft on the small end, but not any worse then a stocker....On the big
end from 3200 to 7200 the pull is breathtaking and the music belched out is
unbeleavable! No side loads, no custom pistons, no headaches a good bore to
stroke ratio....... Remember more is not always better....just different in the
power band. I am certain this 351 is very close to 500HP at the crank on a
single carb as the simulator suggested before it was built....
Pistons were setup for a 200 shot of nitrous, and with the new Oregon
laws...As it is now I cannot even not row it through third gear without passing the
loose your licence law we have now (100MPH)..... Its plenty fast without the
laughing gas! With it, I am thinking it would be one hairy E ticket ride! At
least until the bottle ran dry...
Think about why you want a stroker before you stroke it.... I am thinking why
did I want a bottle of nitrous? This 351 passed my expectation without
it....Trust me its strong running for a street ride!
