[DeTomaso] Asymmetric Suspension Pick Up Points?..

J Deryke, you mentioned that most pantera suspension pick up points seem to  
have been welded asymmetriclly at the factory?
 
What are these pick up points? Are you talking about where the upper and  
lower control arms attach to the chassis? If so... can't I cut them off and  
reweld them if I have the car on a frame machine and just measure up to where  the 
other side is so they are both at a even height off the ground?
 
I'll be doing measurements when the car is locked on a frame machine but  jus 
twant to know if there's any arm in relocatin gand rewelding those points if  
they are indeed off?...
