The reason I use ST i that they are light, big core 3", stainless, easy to repack,
small size and last but not least possible to run endplates to silent the engine
an early morning leaving my house.

The 3" ´core is the same as my exhaust system, and when open there is no
sign of influence in power compared to no muffler, but then the car is quite noisy.

Its light, and this is not only to spare weight on the car as a whole, but it could
almost hang on the exhaust pipe alone. I just use a little hanger to dampen
viberation out.

When using say 3 discs, the car becomes very quite, but it is inpossible to rev
beyond 2000 rpm with any power left, but I remove the discs at a safe to home
distance. Using 20 discs makes for a loud but a car able to drive out of the garage
in the middle of the day, that also rev 7000rpm with fair power. At least the power
I need on the streets.

A side notice is that with 3 discs, the car run hotter. While 20 vs no discs makes
no difference.

The Supertrapp is not the ultimate, as it has to small a dampening volume. And
the car has room for a bigger silencer body. I was figuring using two smaller ST
each sides runnig in to a larger mainbody of my own.
