[DeTomaso] Exhaust Cross or "H" Pipe and Muffler ReccomendationQ

I have installed H pipes a number of times on different cars-engines, 
and it newer turned out to any good. Now, those pipes where installed 
aft of the rollbar which in reality is to fare back. But whats worse, the 
pipe is getting too long and moost of the time created rpm sensitive 
resonances that actually worsen the sound situation. 

An X-pipe is difficult to locate at a proper possition on a Pantera, but 
a tuned header  specially built for a tuned distance to an X-pipe over 
the gearbox would probably work great.

We can not just discuss those things it termes of is an H or X pipe is 
good or not. Ehxust system is a calculation and tuning situation. And 
it is allways a problem finding anyone to calculate and build a predictable 
system.
