[DeTomaso] 1980s Pantera GT5/GT5-S brake pads

I called Wendy at Porterfield and, to my surprise, she said she had pads
available for the Lucas Girling brakes on GT5 & GT5-S Panteras. She said she
has them in two thicknesses, .670" and .980" (including the backing plate).

Front:          FRP 105 $139.95  for all 4 pads
Rear:           GD 557          $79.95 for all 4 pads

This is obviously too good to be true. Therefore, I have asked Wendy to e-mail
me drawings of the pads so I can check if they match. If anyone wants the
drawings, send me a private e-mail and I will gladly forward them to you. 

Incidentally, she confirmed they can bond new pads onto our existing backing
plates, but that it takes 6 or 7 weeks to turn them around. Therefore, they
prefer to sell the new pads which ship right away.

FWIW,

Porterfield just told me they would bond new pads on your existing backing 
plates.

Send them the backing plates with remnants of the existing pads and they 
will bond on new pads.
