[DeTomaso] Ansa Baffles

I installed a super high tech, space age flow diverter to keep the
exhaust gas from slamming directly into the back of the muffler can.
It's basically a 4" inch long piece of heavy angle iron positioned
vertically between the two outlets. There are some pictures on the
Space City Panteras web page:

But you're never going to get the same kind of exhaust flow out of a
gutted Ansa that you would a true free-flow muffler. The gutted Ansa
are just a poor-man's compromise that retains the stock look but at the
same time frees up the exhaust flow compared to the fully baffled stock
mufflers.

Can someone tell me how to remove the baffles in the ansa muffler tips?
I've gutted the interiors, but it's still restricting the flow
considerably.
