With the same input force from your leg, a 1 1/8 inch bore  master cylinder 
(0.994 square inches) will produce 60.4% less hydraulic pressure  than a 7/8 
inch bore master cylinder (0.601 square inches).
 
If it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger  ;<).
