A couple of things I forgot to mention ...
I had to start from scratch with no guidance, so I created personal notes as
Raffle Master, things like lessons learned,
list of contributors (prior and current), calendar, ship to addresses,
receipt of contribution letter, post event thank you letters, and Soooo much
more.  Ideas from brain-storming (some we tried, some we didn't like online
real-time) etc.

Example:  I got lots of positive feedback on creating a Raffle specific
website, which was up for at least the year.
(Actually it is still up from several years ago I believe.)  A good way to
document the donations & prizes, and gave
donors additional advertising.  I know Greg Jacobs, who followed me
continued and expanded on this idea.

I wanted the future raffle masters to benefit from the efforts of those that
went before, and make the job easier.
Each future Raffle Master could chose to use or ignore as they please.

I passed my notes on to Greg, and I know Greg offered this to Coz.
I hope Coz passes on his knowledge to the next person when the time comes,
and so on.

No sense having to start from scratch each time, repeating mistakes, and not
repeating successes.
To whomever is next, GET the Raffle Master package.
