[DeTomaso] MSD 8350 Distributor

It's hightly unlikely that there are different shaft lengths available from
MSD, though I've never actually checked.  Practically every Pantera has
different clearance between the distributor and firewall and even the
distributor cap and engine cover.  My clearances happen to be extremely
tight - I NEED the small diameter cap and have to notch the engine cover
slightly around the cap.  Others can use a big cap distributor with no
problems.

Definitely YMMV.

Just received my MSD 8350 Pro-Billet ready-to-run distributor.  The shaft
looks longer than I expected.  Was there any kind of special order required
for a shorter shaft for clearance under the engine cover, or is it the
diameter of the cap for firewall clearance that is the issue?  The cap looks
the right (smaller) diameter.
