Great news Sean!

I hate to see folks go through so much trouble to get a set of wheels to
fit.

Subject: RE: [DeTomaso] Wheel Woes

I contacted Kodiak and I've decided to let them fix the wheels. Kodiak has
been very helpful and shown they want to make sure I get the wheels right.
After I take the front wheels apart and send the center sections to them
they are going to machine out a 1/2 inch from the stud/nut pockets. By
doing this my front and rear wheels will be the same and I wont have any
issues with short lugs. Daryle said the wheel centers for the fronts were
probably pulled from stock and although the backspacing is correct, the
wheel hub on these particular wheels centers are thicker than they should
be. If he removes material from the rear of the hub or 'hub pad' as he
called it, then my backspacing will change. For the initial purchase order

I only gave Kodiak my backspace and wheel diameter and assumed that
everyother spec would be fine since they have created so many sets of
Pantera wheels. I would suggest to anyone who buys wheels from Kodiak to
measure everything carefully and specify every possible wheel measurement
when ordering. Then check everything 5 times to make sure you got it right
:-)
