[DeTomaso] engine pull question

I've changed the engine in my car 4-5 times while sitting on jack stands
in my garage.  I just removed the deck lid.  As long as you don't have a
long chain, you'll be fine.

Never measured but I don't think 7' is enough room. Can't you pull it
outside just to pull the engine? I'm sure one of the pros will know for
sure.
