[DeTomaso] carb idle problem

Have you checked your timing?  Make sure its set correctly and doesn't
move around/always returns to the correct value.

I have a Motorcraft dist with elect ing. I checked and do not have
vacuum to 
carb.  Problem is rpm wont drop when foot is off gas throttle. Sometime
is 
stays at 2000 rpm. Carb throttle body is OK and carb is rebuilt. It is a
holley 
750. Spring is  ok for return..   At times the return   is      very
slow
