[DeTomaso] Oil Press switch

Will,

Just as Dave in Durango said the Accusump is the best way to go. I use them
(3 qt model). I have one on test and it has held 70 PSI now for 3 months.

I know that cranking a new motor till the oil pressure comes up is not good.
It scrapes off the oil that is there. This may hold true on a motor that has
been sitting too. I took my Explorer (97) back to the dealer after I picked
it up complaining to them that as soon as it started the RPM jumped to 2K
for 15 sec them came back down. I did not like this as the oil pressure was
not up yet. They told me it is done that way to get the oil pressure up
faster......hmmm. Dealer BS?

I was always told that motor damage was caused at start ups.
