[DeTomaso] Clutch Master Rebuild Kit

     I called Beck/Arnley today looking for their #071-5771 clutch master rebuild kit.  They told me the part is obsolete,  they will not be making it anymore.  When I asked about a cross reference,  she gave me two Fiat part numbers;  4140254 and 4270741.  I don't know if these numbers will be of any help or not?  Ted Mitchell's Pantera Parts Interchange listed an EIS part# C7679.  NAPA got me the EIS part using a NAPA number.  If NAPA got me the numbers correct,  then the EIS part is no good,  it might as well have been a lug nut.  I decided to take my stock type master to C.H.  Topping here in Long Beach, California.  I'm waiting for a call back,  but I was assured they could make it work for me.  This may involve a stainless steel sleeve and different,  readily available seals.  Hopefully this will put an end to my clutch master woes.  This is the fourth master cylinder I have had in nine years of ownership.
