I got my dryer from a vendor. MAKE SURE that you specify the year of your
car - early and late models use different dryers, and at least one vendor
won't accept returns if they send you the wrong model.

hey all - recently switched to a newer ac compressor - apparently I need a
"dryer" - is this a Napa purchase (or P specialty item) - part #? I am told
that the existing ac lines and seals, o-rings, etc are set for R12, which
requires less tight seals because it has a bigger molecular structure (don't
ask - i am just the messenger) - so do you think it makes sense to refill
with R12 with the hope of long time before refill? or use 134 in the
existing set up and refill frequently? or change over more of the system to
accomodate 134? Can any of the Houston boys recommend a good a/c shop to do
this (or is this a do it yourself project with a can of freon?)? Many
thanks, Stephen _______________________________________________
